Laila, the heroine with a winning smile, is ever positive, curious, and sparkling-eyed. She was born with an illness and is wheelchair-bound, but that does not stop her from being a challenger she is. With help and support from her parents, brother, and good friends, she enjoys a full life on her university campus. Then her mother who always stands by her, has made arrangements for her to take up courses in a New York university. Laila is excited to be in New York with her mother, and looks forward to her new life there.
