Pregnant Karen and her newlywed husband are spending their honeymoon in a luxurious hotel. Disappointed from her spouse, Karen gets second thoughts about the life she just committed to. A random encounter with a japanese stranger sends Karen on a journey where she explores her boundaries.

Maayan Cohen was born in Jerusalem –Israel, on March 3rd 1985. Maayan graduated a BFA in film production at Tel Aviv University and nowadays she is studying a MA in film studies at Tel-Aviv University. During the BFA Maayan directed short films, commercials and music video clips for international TV channels. Besides directing, Maayan also participated in a special project of initiating a cinematheque in the city of Tayebe. After directing her short film: "Honeymoon", Maayan directed the short film: "Zazaland", which will be screened on TV and in cinematheques as part of a tribute to Israeli films project".
