Fai, who lives in Shenzhen in the mainland China, is working as a commuting chauffeur for Anna, an affluent housewife living in Hong Kong. Fai and his wife are expecting to have their second child. But under China's One-Child Policy, they need to find a way to give birth in Hong Kong, or they must pay a fine for violating the policy. Fai struggles to take his pregnant wife across the Hong Kong-Shenzhen border. At the same time, Anna, a wealthy Hong Kong housewife, has her own secrets.
