Story
Takako Yamakawa is the director of a special care home for disabled people. Her best friend asks her if she would be interested in writing a book about her mother Kiyoko. Although Takako is now a social worker, there was a time when she was ashamed that her parents had intellectual disabilities. What healed her and changed her mind was her mother's honesty, sincerity and devotion to her.
