Story

Shui Qing was abandoned by her mother as a child, but she never hated her mother. In Shui Qing’s fantasy, her mother must be leading a free and romantic life. That was how Shui Qing made peace with the fact that she had been abandoned. When Shui Qing was 16, her mother (Qu Ting), who had been away for many years, came back suddenly. She was shining like a goddess and brought back the dazzling glamours of the outside world. Qu Ting completely matched Shui Qing's imagination. Shui Qing magnified the beauty of her mother in her imagination out of years of yearning and waiting for maternal love – Qu Ting represented the remote and inaccessible outside world. Qu Ting's return not only gave Shui Qing the long-lost love from a mother figure, but also influenced a group of classmates who had always bullied Shui Qing. These kids were fascinated by Qu Ting's free spirit. They all started to hunger for the outside world.
