Story

Ito Soma is a high school student living in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. An excellent player of Tsugaru-jamisen, but with a strong Tsugaru accent, the painfully shy Ito has few friends. Unsatisfied with the status quo, Ito decides to lead a new life and starts to work parttime at a maid café. This leads to encounters with tough people who remain undaunted by unsmiling ways of society, and through the experience Ito changes and grows. Film adaptation of the coming-of-age novel of the same title by Osamu Koshigaya known for the best-selling “Hidamari no kanojo (Girl In The Sunny Place).”
