- Japanese physician Tetsu Nakamura led an NGO known as Peace Japan Medical Services (PMS) and worked for people suffering from drought, war, and illnesses in Afghanistan and Pakistan for over 35 years, devoting his life to giving medical assistance and building canals for agricultural use, etc. In December 2019, he was assassinated by gunmen in Afghanistan. Based on the writings left by Nakamura and some 1,000 hours of archival footage, the film follows his activities for those countries and his thoughts and ideas.
