Story

Filmmaker Ayako Imamura, born deaf, is friends with Ma-chan who has Asperger’s. Every time conflicts arise between them over trivial matters, Imamura finds herself struggling inwardly. In order to achieve mutual understanding and stay friends with Ma-chan, Imamura decides to follow her with a camera, but then the conclusion she reaches is that they should “quit being friends.” Could they?
