story

Mistaken for the son of successful businessman Gondo, his chauffer’s son is kidnapped. The culprits demand Gondo to pay 30 million yen in ransom. With tension mounting between the two parties, the kidnappers carry on with their elaborate plan while the police team grows increasingly determined to catch them. A gripping suspense film by the great Akira Kurosawa keeps the viewers holding their breath from start to finish.
