A prominent researcher of the laser beam and his wife are a childless couple. One day, a mysterious girl appears in front of them, claiming that she is the daughter of the researcher. As it turns out, while in college, the husband had been involved in a resistance movement. This human drama, including both tragedy and comedy, also portrays an on-going revolution among the younger generation and its possible outcome that is yet to be seen.
