This documentary focuses on Daikokuza, a small 48-seat movie theater in Uraga, a small port town in Hokkaido. Getting over repeated crises of being closed down, Daikokuza stays in business with the help of a lot of supporters. The narrator is Keiko Nakamura, whose voice is familiar to us because she announces for a time signal on the phone.
