"GIFTED CHILD" Haruko Kadono (Japan/Nonfiction Writer)




Born in Tokyo, 1937.
Haruko Kadono has written about education and child's problems since 1980 and about the caring for aged parents and welfare for the aged since 1991. Recently she writes about her grandchild with autism. “Rho Shin” directed by Tazuko Makitsubo, which was screened at AIWFF 2000, is also based on her books.
