Born in Incyeon Korea, 1960.
Graduated from Universite Vincennes A Saint-Denis, Paris majoring in Film Studies, and received the Best Film/Young Critics Award at the 1st Seoul Short Film Festival in 1994 for her short “Promenade in the Rain”. She directed films “Waikiki Brothers” (2001) and “If You Were Me: Her weight” (2003). Her recent film “Forever the Moment” (2008) became a big hit in Korea, obtaining over 4 million audiences in just 37 days after the theater release.
